Full-time/Associate/Partner Optometrist

Join Our Team: Optometrist in Plainville, CT

Plainville Optometrics is seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Doctor of Optometry (OD) to join our established private practice. Founded in 1993, our facility works in tandem with Plainville Optical Inc to provide comprehensive primary eyecare built on integrity, dependability, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and managing ocular conditions, prescribing corrective lenses and medications, and providing personalized, high-quality patient care. You will collaborate with our opticians to ensure accurate eyewear recommendations and fittings, as well as provide contact lens evaluations and fittings. We are looking for a doctor who values clinical excellence, effective communication, teamwork, and building lasting relationships with patients while helping them achieve their best possible vision and eye health.

What We Offer

  • Flexible Compensation Structure: Choose between a generous base hourly rate of $100.00/hour with paid time off (PTO), flexible scheduling, and commuter assistance—OR a structured partnership track featuring robust short- and long-term benefits. A salary position could pay up to $170,000 a year.
  • Balanced Environment: Work within a collaborative, fast-paced setting alongside an experienced team of licensed opticians.
  • Flexible Commitment: Open to Full-Time, Part-Time, or Long Term Partnership arrangements to suit your schedule
