Greloch Eyecare is a long‑established, growing private optometric practice offering comprehensive eye exams, eyewear, and contact lens services in East Hartford and Marlborough, Connecticut. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Optometrist to join our team in our East Hartford location and deliver high-quality, patient-centered eye care. 

The ideal candidate is passionate about optometry, committed to excellent patient care, and dedicated to providing an outstanding customer experience. 

Responsibilities 

Perform comprehensive medical eye examinations and vision assessments. 

• Diagnose and manage vision problems and eye conditions.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision-correction solutions.
• Educate patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and overall eye health.
• Develop appropriate treatment and follow-up care plans.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Collaborate with staff members to provide an efficient and positive patient experience.
• Refer patients to other healthcare professionals when specialized care is needed. 

Requirements 

• Active Connecticut optometrist license in good standing. 
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to excellent patient care and customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings.
