Optometrist Opportunity in Enfield, CT- part or full time

We are a growing, privately owned optometry practice in Enfield, Connecticut seeking a motivated and patient-focused Optometrist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor who enjoys practicing full-scope optometry with an emphasis on medical eye care and advanced dry eye management.

With over 35 years of providing trusted eye care to the community, our modern, well-established practice is committed to delivering high-quality, personalized care.  Our clinical focus includes comprehensive eye exams, ocular disease management, and a robust dry eye specialty supported by advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies.  

Advanced Technology Includes

• Optomap widefield retinal imaging
• Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
• OptiLight IPL for dry eye treatment
• OptiLift for periorbital aesthetics and dry eye support
• Radiofrequency (RF) technology for meibomian gland dysfunction and ocular surface disease

Position Details

• Part-time or full-time opportunity
• Starting salary: $150,000+
• Sign-on bonus or student loan repayment/matching up to $6,000
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases (glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, etc.)
• Evaluate and treat dry eye disease using advanced therapies and technology
• Incorporate in-office procedures and technology-driven care into treatment plans
• Collaborate with a supportive team of technicians and staff
• Build long-term patient relationships through exceptional care

What We’re Looking For

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Connecticut
• Strong clinical skills with an interest in medical optometry and dry eye management
• Experience with or willingness to learn advanced dry eye technologies (IPL, RF, etc.)
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to growth and learning
