Job Title: Optometrist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision testing, diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases (e.g., glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration)
• Prescribe corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing procedures such as LASIK
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals when needed

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid state optometry license
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a clinical or private practice setting
• Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and electronic health records (EHR)
• Bilingual (Spanish)
