Fill in Optician Wanted!

We are a busy and growing private optometry practice located in the heart of Jewett City, CT. Our team is passionate about providing exceptional eye care with a personal touch. Our goal is to create a boutique experience for patients. We are searching for a temporary optician to fill in for maternity leave of one of our long term dedicated staff members. 

Responsibilities:

• Help patients in selecting eyewear and correct lenses and coatings. 
• Manage optical- order frames and keep stock up to date. 
• Check in and dispense eyeglasses
• Adjusting glasses for patients, some minor repairs 
• Answering phones
• Verifying vision insurance (VSP only office) 

Qualifications:

• Previous optical experience 
• Licensed or non licensed welcome to apply
