We are a busy and growing private optometry practice located in the heart of Jewett City, CT. Our team is passionate about providing exceptional eye care with a personal touch. Our goal is to create a boutique experience for patients. As our patient base continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Optometrist to join our team on a full or part-time basis. New grads welcome to apply. 

Position Overview:
The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye exams, manage ocular disease, and prescribe glasses lenses and contact lenses. This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist who values work-life balance and enjoys practicing in a supportive, patient-focused environment. The position has the opportunity to be flexible, part time, or full time. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine eye exams and comprehensive eye health evaluations
• Diagnose, manage, and treat ocular diseases
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options
• Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient patient flow and outstanding care

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice in CT
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering excellent patient care
