Optometrist – Part time or Full time

Exciting opportunity to join our team! Optometrist wanted for our retail Optical eyewear store in Orange, CT (Independent contractor, OD licensed in CT). Comprehensive eye exams and basic contact lens fitting/evaluations are a big part of the practice. You set your own schedule of preferred hours, dates, and exam times. Support staff available for appointing, confirming, insurance verification, and collecting payments.  Exam lane and equipment includes Phoropter, Keratometer, Slit lamp, Electronic Snellen Display, and Laptop with EyeCloud Pro EHR system.

 

After a few months of successful practice in Orange, you will have the option of having us purchase a state-of-the-art Maestro-2 fundus photo/OCT instrument for your Orange location. Also, if by some chance our staff is unable to fill your schedule as much as you would like, our primary doctor at our Hamden/North Haven location has offered for you to add a day or two at our Hamden store until your practice is fully built-up in Orange. 

 

Job Types: Full-time or Part-time, very flexible

Pay: $600.00 - $1,200 per day estimated for an 8 hour day dending on number of patients, type of insurance, and what services are requested by patients. You may set your own fees, though matching the doctor fees at our other 6 stores makes things simpler for patients.
