Full-Time or Part-Time Optometrist – Independent, 5-Star Private Practice

King Family Eye Care is a medically oriented, independently owned practice looking for a full-time Optometrist to join our growing team. We are a multi-location, multi-doctor practice with offices in Old Saybrook and Rocky Hill, CT. Our primary need is in Old Saybrook at this time, though we are open to part-time opportunities and scheduling flexibility.

We are consistently one of the best-rated practices on the shoreline, with a strong base of loyal patients and a long history of 5-star Google reviews. Our experienced, high-performing staff and doctors work together to provide exceptional, efficient care in a supportive environment. As a truly independent practice (not private equity owned), our focus is on patient care and long-term relationships.

Clinical Environment & Support

Each office has two exam lanes and all the technology needed to practice full-scope Optometry, including:

• OCT

• Retinal camera

• Visual field

Our technicians are well-trained and handle pre-testing and many special testing duties, allowing you to focus on patient care. Doctors typically see an average of 2–3 comprehensive exams per hour, with occasional office visits added.

For the right candidate, there is potential for future partnership as we continue to grow and explore expansion opportunities.
