Unique opportunity for an optometrist looking to become an associate or partner in a boutique full-scope private practice who is passionate about patient care, interested in learning new specialty skills, and believes in the importance of patient education and prevention.

Description: 

We have an exciting opportunity for an optometrist who is excited to grow and develop new skills in specialty services including dry eye, ocular disease, and specialty contact lenses in a boutique private practice with partnership opportunities. 


Our practice has been serving the greater Hartford area for 20 years and continues to grow in specialty services. We have a strong referral base of optometrists, ophthalmologists, physicians, pediatricians, and patients. We are changing what it means to be seen with advanced technology for early detection, patient education, and preventative care. It all begins by listening to patients’ needs.  


We pride ourselves in providing our patients individualized care with access to treatments across multiple optometric specialties including neurorehabilitation, vision therapy, dry eye, myopia management, specialty contact lenses, and ocular disease. Each optometrist on our team has one or more specialties or areas of interest for interoffice referrals and/or mentorship. We strive to provide exceptional experiences for patients and staff through organized infrastructure and leadership. 

SIGHT Eye Health Eye Wear  

  • Treatment / Management of Ocular Surface Disease, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Acute Trauma and Urgent Eye Care 
  • Co-Management of LASIK, Cataract surgery, and Retinal disease 
  • Dry Eye Center: IPL, Lipiflow, Tear Care, Lipiscan, Zest treatments, Digitial Slit Lamp, Supplements, and an ocular esthetics technician for treatment and patient education
  • Specialty Contact Lenses: Sclerals, RGPs, Hybrid, Pediatric Aphakia 
  • Refractions which may include prism or the Neurolens; Recommendations for the best optical solutions for patients and their functional needs 
  • Independent Luxury Optical Collections: SALT, Mykita, Lapima, LA Eyeworks, Caroline Abrams, Bevel, Orgreen, Silhoutte, and Frances Klein.

Education and Experience Required 

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree from an accredited School of Optometry 
  • Active License to practice Advanced Optometric Care in CT 
  • National Provider Identification (NPI) 
  • Accepting New 2024 Grads

 
Salary: 

15% production with a guarantee
